Danny will present at Subsea Expo in Aberdeen, showcasing Zupt's 3D Recon V2, our real-time subsea 3D reconstruction system that delivers high-density, geospatially accurate models while enabling Inspection and ROV crews to quality-check results as they're captured.

He'll be presenting on how 3D Recon supports digital inspections and autonomy workflows, including:

🟧 "Digital Inspections: Qualifying Asset Integrity in Late Life Management" (Late Life Management session - 4 February, 10:15 to 11:30)
🟧 "Smarter Eyes Underwater: The Future of Vision-Based Autonomy" (Underwater Robotics session - 4 February, 14:30 to 15:45)

He'll also highlight what's new in V2, including:

🟧 A streamlined two-camera setup on a 30 cm baseline
🟧 A built-in 10 Gb switch for higher bandwidth, faster frame rates, and future sensor integration
🟧 Upgraded lighting from 20,000 lumens to 100,000 lumens to improve visibility and model quality
🟧 A move to ROS/Linux for faster processing
🟧 PTP time synchronization without an external INS
🟧 Binary data storage for quicker transfers, making the system more efficient
