A First for Inertial Metrologies in Mexico

In a joint effort, Zupt and Harkand carried out the first deep water diver based inertial metrology in Mexico’s waters at a record-setting 380 fsw in the Bay of Campeche. The completed survey project was in support of the installation of an expansion spool piece for a new pipeline and platform campaign.

The efficiency of Zupt’s inertial solution, combined with the skill and expertise of Harkand’s personnel, allowed the client to have results within 12 hours and fabricate the expansion spool piece in two days.
